My new obsession……TURMERIC LATTES!!!!  Tis the season, after all! I mean…why have a boring white latte when you can have a fluorescent radioactive-looking one!  I mean…LIVE A LITTLE!

When I first saw them I was hooked.  I had never had one but I knew I wanted to.  So I started searching for the best recipe I could find.  So lucky you….HERE IT IS (courtesy of GOOP).

Bomb-ass Turmeric Latte Recipe:

1 heaped teaspoon peeled and finely chopped fresh turmeric

1 teaspoon peeled and roughly chopped ginger

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

2 teaspoons coconut oil

pinch sea salt

1 cup almond milk (I actually much prefer coconut milk)

ground black pepper

Instructions:

1. Combine turmeric, ginger, coconut sugar, coconut oil and a pinch of sea salt in a powerful blender.

2. Heat almond milk (or coconut milk…my preferred) in a small saucepan over medium heat until just simmering.

3. Pour the hot almond or coconut milk into the blender and blitz everything until smooth and frothy. Pour into a glass and garnish with ground black pepper or cinnamon.
